- Scope of work
The main role of the consultant is to provide technical support to CamboJA’s Research & Advocacy program to be effective on CamboJA’s monitoring, documenting and advocacy actions. . The role aims to support the RA program in compiling documented cases and information into well-written, comprehensive reports in English and Khmer, which are regularly published on an annual and quarterly basis.

Required Qualification
The selected applicant must have the following qualifications and experiences:
- Knowledge of Cambodia’s media landscape and journalists’ rights
- Understanding of different dimensions of journalists’ safety including the gendered nature of harassment against women journalists
- At least five years of professional experience in producing news reports in English and/or Khmer.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism and other related fields
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Khmer
- Ability to travel to provinces independently or in team to conduct fieldwork as assigned
- Ability to commit to strict deadlines and flexible working hours
