Internship Opportunity at CamboJA Newsroom

Position: Reporter Interns (2 positions) & Video Reporter Intern (1 position) 

Type: Unpaid Internship 

Duration: 6 months (Flexible)  

Location: Phnom Penh (with possible travel to provinces)

Are you passionate about journalism and eager to learn in a dynamic newsroom environment? The Cambodian Journalists Alliance Association (CamboJA) is looking for two (2) Reporter Interns and one (1) Video Reporter Intern to join our newsroom team. 

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience for aspiring journalists. Interns will work alongside experienced reporters and editors, gaining real-world skills in news gathering, reporting, interviewing, and multimedia production. 

1. Internship Benefits:

• Field reporting opportunities (including possible provincial travel). 

• Provided capacity building on communication skills and job application writing. 

• Certificate and recommendation letter upon successful completion. 
   

2. Qualifications: 

• University student or recent graduate in journalism, media, communication,  
  or related field 

• Good writing skills (Khmer and English) 

• Interest in current affairs, press freedom, and social issues. 

• Basic video filming/editing skills (for Video Reporter position) 

• Strong commitment to learning and teamwork.
