Job Summary
The News Editor works under the supervision of Editor-in-chief. She/He is responsible for planning and editing news articles in both English and Khmer for CamboJA News (www.cambojanews.com and khmer.cambojanews.com). He/She provides support to Associate Editors, Senior Reporters, Reporters, Freelance Journalists, Video Producer, and others as required in order to ensure accurate, balance, and objective news coverage for CamboJA News.

Position Qualification/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media management, or other related fields (Master’s degree is preferred)
- At least 5 years of successful work experiences in news reporting and newsroom management especially in digital journalism
- Knowledge and understanding of principles and practices of professional journalism
- Good writing and oral communication skills
- Fluency in Khmer & English
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Teamwork and multi-culturalism spirit
- Knowledge and understanding of gender issues
- Strong motivation to promote professional and high-quality journalism
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task; attention to detail and ability to travel and work with community people.
