The 2022 Southeast Asia Regional Conference:“Strengthening Collaboration, Defending Press Freedom in Southeast Asia”

CamboJA together with AJI Indonesia, Geramm (Malaysia), CIJ (Malaysia), AJTL (Timor Leste), and NUJP (Philippines) will hold the 2022 SEA Regional Conference. At least a hundred people from journalism, media, press council, media CSOs, international organizations, academia, and research will be presenting at this conference.
There will be a number of enlightening panels addressing important issues including Mapping Media Freedom, press freedom advocacy, the survival of non-profit media during the Covid-19 epidemic, digital authoritarianism and online surveillance, and sexual harassment in journalism.
