Join CamboJA for an inspiring evening of community voices, meaningful conversations, and public support for professional and independent journalism in Cambodia.
Under the theme “Community Listening” this special event brings together around 150 participants, including journalists from across the country, community representatives, civil society organizations, development partners, media stakeholders, and supporters of independent journalism.
How can the public help sustain professional journalism? What issues are communities asking journalists to report on? Which voices are still being overlooked? And how can we work together to ensure journalism continues to serve the public interest?
Through an engaging community dialogue, participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, raise important concerns, identify information gaps, and connect directly with journalists. The conversation will help journalists better understand community information needs and identify issues that deserve greater attention and reporting.
At the same time, the event will mobilize public support for professional journalism by inviting participants to become active supporters of independent media through CamboJA’s membership and micro-funding program. By making a regular contribution, members can play a direct role in sustaining credible, independent, and public-interest journalism in Cambodia.
Your voice can shape the stories journalists tell. Your support can help ensure those stories continue to be told.
Come listen. Share your voice. Support professional journalism.
The event aims to strengthen professional and independent journalism in Cambodia by connecting journalists with communities and mobilizing greater public support.
